美國實習老師 Annamarie
Hello! My name is Annamarie Parker, otherwise known as Anna, and I’m currently doing my TESOL internship here at Sijhou Junior High School. I’m 23 and a recent graduate from Northern Michigan University, where I achieved my Bachelor’s in English, Writing and triple minored in German, journalism and TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language).
During my time at Northern I often worked with college students and building communities as a Resident Advisor. I planned activities, served as an intersection for resources, and played the role of a friendly face in something that could otherwise be new and scary. I also worked front desk jobs often, and as a copy editor for my school’s campus newspaper, the North Wind.
In the future I hope to continue to travel, experience, connect and teach English in places just like Sijhou—helping to strengthen communities through both diversity and a love of learning and overcoming.
大家好！我叫安娜瑪麗・帕克，也叫安娜，目前我正在溪州國中進行我的TESOL（教授英語為第二語言）實習。我今年23歲，剛從北密西根大學畢業，獲得了英語寫作學士學位，同時輔修了德語、新聞和TESOL。
在北密西根大學期間，我經常與大學生一起工作，並作為宿舍管理員來建立社區。我策劃活動，提供資源，並在新生面對新環境時，扮演友好面孔的角色。我還經常在前台工作，並擔任校園報紙《北風》的校對編輯。
未來，我希望能繼續旅行、體驗、交流並在像溪州這樣的地方教授英語，通過多元化和學習克服困難的熱愛來加強社區建設。
Annamarie, a student teacher from Northern Michigan University, has just arrived in Taiwan for her TESOL internship. She'll be at Sijhou Junior High School for three weeks. Annamarie from Northern Michigan University visited Chaoyang Elementary School in Sijhou Township. The principal and directors warmly welcomed her. Annamarie visited Sinjuang Elementary School in Hemei Township and received a warm welcome from the principal (on her right). She was there to observe the class of the school's foreign English teacher as part of her internship. On her left is Luke, who helped facilitate her practicum. (May 14th, 2024)
